Golden Slipper: Recent history says Fillies undervalued

The Golden Slipper is upon us and Marc Lambourne has had a look at the recent history of the race.

Using SP as a measuring stick Marc has assessed the Colts v Fillies performances:

Past 7 slippers: Fillies won 5, 19/28 first 4 finishes
Previous 10: males won 6
Yet, this is not reflected in SP
Past 7 SP=829% (Fillies =400%, Colts =429%)
2013 filly won (f=78% market /c=45% market)
2014 filly won (f=88/c=28)
2015 colt won (f=25/c=90)
2016 colt won (f=16/c=105)
2017 filly won (f=82/c=38)
2018 filly won (f=53/c=64)
2019 filly won (f=57/c=60)
2020 ? (f=44/c=68)
Interestingly the two years the colts won they (colts) dominated the markets (90% and 105%).
